The Experience
After you schedule your session time, you will come into the studio to meet with Mara for your design session. Mara will discuss the personalities of your family members, types of images you like the best, location that will best suit your family, particular sizes or orientations you have in mind to fit in your home, clothing and anything else that you may be concerned about.

The portrait session itself is scheduled based upon the most appropriate time and location for you and your children. Although Mara does photograph at the studio, she will be happy to come to your home or another location that will personalize your images. The session itself is very relaxed. Mara works very will with kids and will talk to them to elicit the most natural expressions.

About ten days after the portrait session you will come into the studio to view the projected images from the session in a slide show presentation and place your order. Mara works closely with you to help you choose the best images and sizes and even puts together a packet of her favorites in Suggestion Pages. Because our portraits are handcrafted on the finest paper available and each album is custom designed, the final portrait order will take between four and eight weeks.

When your order is complete you are ready to choose frames to compliment the images as well as your home. Megan is an expert at helping with frame selection and will have handpicked a few of the perfect mouldings to go with your images even before you arrive. Once your portraits are framed, we can even come to your home for the installation!
